Seems every planet in the Alpha Quadrant has its drink of choice. And perhaps some of those are included in this special Star Trek wine Advent Calendar. This year’s version celebrates sixty years of the franchise, which launched on September 8, 1966. This collection features 24 top-quality wines. Inside, you’ll find premium wines sourced from all over the world, including Argentina, Chile, Italy, South Africa, and the United States. Every live-action series from the franchise is represented in this Advent Calendar, from the classic show, to The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, Enterprise, Discovery, and Strange New Worlds. Sadly, no animated shows like Lower Decks or Prodigy. Maybe we’ll have to wait until next year. The stickers in the interior box may provide hints at what’s inside, however. There’s a logo for the Phoenix, the first warp ship from the film Star Trek: First Contact. Also, we see the Niners’ baseball team logo from Deep Space Nine.
Each wine label is a tribute to the vast universe of stories contained within the world of Star Trek. Each bottle will highlight a beloved character from the series, such as Spock and Jean Luc Picard. We’ll also see iconic starships like the Enterprise (probably a few of them), Voyager, and Discovery. Not to mention, legendary locations from across the various series, like Starfleet Academy, the planet Vulcan, among others. They will also include in-depth write-ups on every bottle.
