1,300 games for $10: ‘No ICE in Minnesota’ bundle launched | usagoldmines.com

If you want to invest in a massive bundle of indie games and support the ongoing crisis in Minnesota at the same time, a new games bundle offers the opportunity to do both.

“No ICE in Minnesota” bundles up to 274 PC games as well as over 1,000 physical games, plus several e-books and a few soundtracks. It’s all being offered for the exceptionally low price of $10, for a bundle valued at over $5,000. (You can certainly donate more, if you choose.)

As my colleague Brad Chacos points out, the award-winning, rulebreaking Baba is You is probably worth $10 by itself. (It’s one of the greatest games of this generation!) But there’s Hyperdot, Micron, plus a whole host of others. Most of these you (or at least I) probably haven’t heard of, offering the chance to try out offerings from a number of small indie developers while still enjoying some of the larger, more popular titles.

The bundle was put together by “jesthehuman,” and supports the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota.

“We created this bundle to raise funds for Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota in response to the Trump administration sending ICE agents to the Minneapolis area and the reckless murder of an innocent people by ICE agents,” the bundle reads. “ILCM provides free immigration legal representation to low-income immigrants and refugees in Minnesota and North Dakota. They also work to educate the community about immigration matters and advocates for public policies which respect the universal human rights of immigrants. ILCM provides services based on capacity and has a generally high demand for services. The more we are able to fundraise, the more people they will be able to assist.”
