Bitcoin hit $106k this morning, a new ATH. As a result, the market pumped as well. However, some of the stronger altcoins pumped the hardest. The ATHs of altcoins keep tumbling all the time, left, right, and in the middle.
So, I’m looking at why these three altcoins are trending and why they keep pumping. I will also look into their future potential. Should you still get into these altcoins, or are they nearing the end of the line? And last, but not least, what are good entry and exit points.
Ondo Finance ($ONDO)
With Ondo ($ONDO) we’re in the RWA realm. And Ondo is one of the rulers here as well. It’s close on Mantra’s heels to take over its first spot again. It’s also the first of my altcoins picks for today.
One of the reasons Ondo Finance is trending lies with Binance. They recently purchased 600k $ONDO. This indicates that a listing is imminent.Â
Binance will be FORCED to list $ONDO at some point within this cycle.

Now, you can argue that $ONDO is already listed on Coinbase. That’s also a big exchange. However, Binance listings always manage to attract attention. Once listed, $ONDO should get a massive boost. Trump’s World Liberty Fi also bought for $250k $ONDO at $1.81.
$ONDO Unlocking Event
Nonetheless, the main reason for the pump now is that $ONDO will see a massive unlock come 18th January 2025. $ONDO is a VC (Venture Capital) coin. And, well, these coins tend to pump before their unlock.Â
The current supply of 1.45 billion tokens will more than double. The 18th of January unlock is for no less than 1.94 billion $ONDO. This is 19.35% of the total supply, or 135% of its current market cap. It’s also a $4 billion unlock at $ONDO’s current price of $2.09. For the next three years until 2028, we will see similar unlocks, each year on 18th January. If it dips, you can buy the dip again.

It’s still a good time to enter $ONDO at its current price. The price will most likely keep going up until 18th January 2025. However, make sure to take any profits by 16th or 17th January.
Sui Network ($SUI)
Now on to Sui ($SUI) and its ecosystem and my second pick of today’s altcoins. For this bull run, $SUI is like the eternal flame. Today it reached once again a new ATH. $SUI is closing in on the $5 mark. The current ATH is $4.91. 2A Our Alpha group called $SUI early, at 77 cents. That’s a generous 6.4x.Â
So, where to start with Sui? There’s so much happening all the time. Ok, let’s get some order for this.
The recent news of Solana builders joining the Sui ecosystem helped. Welcome to the Phantom (7 million monthly users) and Backpack wallets (also an exchange).

DeFi on Sui
- Sui’s TVL surpassed $1.8 billion for the first time.
- Total DEX volume has exceeded $35 billion. This includes a new 24-hour record for DEX volume has been set at $466 million.
- Sui ranks #3 in net flows over the past 3 months, with nearly $1 billion flowing into the network.
- Sui Network hits over 7.5 billion transactions.
As you can see, Sui’s DeFi is truly on fire. New ATHs are everywhere.

Sui’s ecosystem
Sui’s ecosystem is also keeping up the pace. Many protocols see some serious price increases and new ATHs.
- Let’s start with Deepbook and its $DEEP token. This is Sui’s liquidity layer. Most prominent Sui DeFi protocols use this in their back end. $DEEP reached a new ATH today of over 11 cents. It’s up 30% on the day and 113% over the last 14 days.Â
- Or the recent Bluefin ($BLUE) and Suilend ($SEND) airdrops.
Sui GamingÂ
One sector where Sui is also very active is gaming. You may have heard of their SuiPlay0X1. It’s a handheld blockchain gaming console. As such, it’s the first-of-its-kind. Its launch should be in 2025. Pre-orders are open, with around 5,000 copies being pre-sold already. Its price is $599. It could well be a game changer for the gaming community. However, besides all the possible games on this device, it has more perks. See the video below.
By pre-ordering a device, you also qualify for various airdrops. For example, $BLUE by Bluefin or $SCA by Scallop. There are also plenty of confirmed memecoin airdrops, like $FUD, $HIPPO, and $LOFI. Or how about 30 EGGS by Aftermath?
Xociety is another interesting play. They launched on Polygon but decided to move to Sui. You may want to look into their NFTs.

E4C is another new game launching on Sui. It connects Web2 with Web3. It will launch the mobile MOBA E4C game: Final Salvation. Its Ludus platform will allow for multi-platform access between handheld, PC, mobile, and more.

So, keep buying the dips. Look into Sui ecosystem altcoins like $CETUS and $TURBOS. The Sui memes also still have quite some runway.
Hyperliquid ($HYPE)
Hyperliquid ($HYPE) is the new DeFi kid on the crypto block. Once its $HYPE token launched, it crashed the party. Its TVL is $2.5 billion, which puts it in 8th spot of all chains. It bumped Sui down one spot!
Hyperliquid is a Perps DEX with low slippage. That’s the difference between where you expect the trade to happen and the real trade price. You can use up to 50x leverage on the platform. Before you use any of these, make sure you understand leverage. You can make a lot of money, but you can also easily lose it all.
Perps DEXes are popular all around. However, Hyperliquid seems to take this to a completely new level. Let’s take a look at the $HYPE TGE and its airdrop.Â
There is a max of 1 billion tokens. About 1/3 was distributed to its community. This turned out to be one of the most generous airdrops in history. I also want to point out that Hyperliquid is completely self-funded.
Where tokens usually dip after an airdrop, $HYPE showed incredible strength. It launched on 29th November, and in a good two weeks it pumped by over 200%. $HYPE keeps hitting new ATHs daily. Today it’s at $26.81. That’s a 6x from when CoinGecko listed it. Its market cap is currently $8.6 billion. It already ranks #28 by market cap.
The momentum for $HYPE keeps going strong. It still has lots of potential from here. It hasn’t seen a real dip yet, that would be a good entry point.
