More people than ever before are onboarding into crypto from Telegram. From Telegram, it’s easy to set up a wallet and use their compatible TON Network. So it’s no surprise when other projects start building on TON to get more users and adoption. One thing we have NOT seen yet, but now we will soon, is the convergence between Telegram/TON and online education. More people come to the web to learn about things. Whether it’s a foreign language, how to code OR, YouTube videos on how to learn and start a new game or hobby. Online education through the web covers it all.
So today, the first project we’ve seen that brings Online Education and the easy-to-use TON Network together. The project is Edu3labs and its first education-based game for TON is now live. Let’s check it out.
Edu3Labs Launching Games on Telegram
Edu3labs is the undisputed leader in Web3 online education for learning new skills like photography or coding. Just like Udemy.
The other big leader in the category, who is a partner with Edu3labs is Open Campus. Their focus is on K-12 style education. So it’s like comparing Udemy with Khan Academy. Both are great at different things. This is why they partner together.
As the Udemy of Web3, Edu3labs is trying to find ways to reach the masses. Nearly everyone has an interest in something they haven’t fully cultivated yet. Or they’ve learned some about the subject and want to learn more.
And one of the biggest and most cost-effective of the major social platforms is Telegram. Yes, I know Telegram is in the news for what France is doing to their Russian founder Pavel Durov. But that’s a short-term story.

The longer term strategy is that Telegram has almost 1 billion users. They are inexpensive to reach, and it’s inexpensive to build compatible apps and protocols. Plus, you have Telegram’s connection to the TON Network, one of crypto’s largest projects.
We expect the Telegram-TON connection to be one of the biggest and easiest ways to onboard newbies to crypto. And that’s EXACTLY the audience Edu3labs is looking for. So it makes sense Edu3labs would build something on TON.
Currently, there are 7 games in the works and the first is ready for public release. Let’s take a look at it.

As a BNB Chain Kickstart Grant Program recipient, Edu3labs is getting financial and marketing support from BNB Chain. That support is specifically to make online education more fun for users.
The entire reason why Edu3labs does what it does from the use of AI to personalize your courses more to this move to Telegram games is all for the same reason. To get as many people into Web3 for online education as possible and to make the experience fun.
And the team has done it. The first game on Telegram is ready, and we are going to show it to you right now.
Trivio Launches
The first game as a Telegram app is now ready. It’s called Trivio, and it’s a trivia game, as you might expect. You start by claiming a reward as you do here and then you can play. You can play every day. This is what the gaming interface looks like. Pick Quizzes and get started.
Edu3labs Telegram
I started by picking the beginner quiz on “The Digital Revolution”. As you can see, it has questions like,
What is a blockchain?
What is mining?
Who was the creator of Bitcoin?
And more. I bet you can get most or all of these, as our AB team member here playing did. Here’s what the gameplay looks like. (The video has no sound)
The proof of stake question was good. It’s also an indicator of why some of the Bitcoin OGs and those who favor decentralization above all else don’t like PoS networks. After all, if you stake the most, then you can vote the most on any governance question. That’s not that different from the golden rule in business, which is “he who has the gold makes the rules”.
As you can see from the gameplay above, after finishing with a good score, you can earn 500 coins by playing.
Edu3labs Telegram
The team has not disclosed anything to us or to the public yet, but the coins will be redeemable for benefits for Edu3labs users. We would not be surprised if eventually you could convert these reward coins into $NFE. But again, that is unconfirmed.
$NFE is a BEP-20 token so either bridging or a Telegram-compatible TON-20 token version would need to happen to convert these coins. Right now, there are some good benefits coming up when playing Trivio along with using the Edu3labs platform.
