Prime Day 2025 is here from Tuesday, July 8 to Friday, July 11, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price-tracking tools.

New to Prime Day? We have a primer on everything you need to know. Sales are accurate at the time of publication, but prices and inventory are always subject to change.

I got on the portable power station train a long time ago—my neighborhood lost power for a whole week in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, and that was a grim seven days. Ever since, I’ve resolved that I won’t rely on candles and flashlights to get me through the next power outage.

That’s why Amazon’s Prime Day deal on the Bluetti Elite 200 portable power station is exciting. If you don’t have a power station in your blackout arsenal, this is the time to get one. This amazing device is an astounding $1,000 off its regular price—in fact, the whole Bluetti product range is currently a steal, with some discounts on power stations and solar generators hitting 70%.

The Bluetti Elite 200 offers 2600 watts of output and can power up to nine devices simultaneously. It also has a terrific feature called Power Lifting, which temporarily boosts the output to 3900 watts. This means you can run power-hungry devices like heaters even though they require more wattage than the Elite 200 normally provides.

There’s an an easy-to-use app to monitor power usage, it charges up very quickly on AC power (and connects to optional solar panels so you can charge it even when the power’s out), and it’s fairly small and easy to transport, making it perfect for camping and other non-emergency uses too.

Best of all, the battery is rated to retain 80% of its capacity for more than 6,000 cycles, which the company equates to a 17-year lifespan. That makes getting $1,000 off an exceptional deal, especially if you don’t have a portable power solution in the house right now.

Looking for something else? Retailers like Walmart, Best Buy, and Home Depot have Prime Day competition sales that are especially useful if you don’t have Amazon Prime.

  • Walmart’s Prime Day competition sale begins at midnight on July 8 and will include deals up to 50% off. It’s an especially good option if you have Walmart+.

  • Best Buy’s Prime Day competition sale, “Black Friday in July,” runs through Sunday, July 13 and has some of the best tech sales online. It’s an especially good option if you’re a My Best Buy “Plus” or “Total” member.

  • Home Depot extended its 4th of July sale through at least July 9, competing with some amazing deals of its own. It’s an especially good option if you’re looking for power tools, appliances, or outdoor equipment.
