Prime Day 2025 is here from Tuesday, July 8 to Friday, July 11, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price-tracking tools.

If you’ve been looking to set up a home security system without having to deal with subscription fees or messy wiring, the EufyCam 3 S330 4-Cam Kit is currently $436.99, down from $799.99—a 45% discount that essentially gets you four solid outdoor security cameras for the cost of two. That’s enough coverage for most small to medium homes, and the setup is entirely wire-free (mount the cameras, pair them with the included HomeBase hub, and you’re good to go). As with all Prime Day deals, you’ll need a Prime membership to claim it.

Each IP67-rated camera comes with a built-in solar panel, so once they’re up, a couple of hours of direct sunlight a day can keep them going (according to the manufacturer). They record in 4K, have color night vision, and include face, person, pet, and vehicle detection, so you know exactly what triggered a recording. That said, the EufyCam 3 runs on 2.4GHz wifi only, and because it’s battery-powered, you won’t get 24/7 recording—just motion-triggered clips. There’s also a built-in spotlight for added visibility at night. Night vision works in both color and black-and-white, and there’s two-way talk built in, so you can greet guests or warn off strangers.

The included HomeBase 3 is what ties the whole thing together. It stores your video clips locally with 16GB of built-in memory (expandable up to 16TB) and powers Eufy’s AI features, including its BionicMind facial recognition. PCMag gave the EufyCam 3 an “Excellent” rating, named it an Editor’s Choice, and also picked it as the Best Security Camera of 2023. That’s solid backing from a trusted source. It works with Alexa and Google Assistant, but not Apple HomeKit, so that’s something to note depending on your ecosystem.

Looking for something else? Retailers like Walmart, Best Buy, and Home Depot have Prime Day competition sales that are especially useful if you don’t have Amazon Prime.

  • Walmart’s Prime Day competition sale begins at midnight on July 8 and will include deals up to 50% off. It’s an especially good option if you have Walmart+.

  • Best Buy’s Prime Day competition sale, “Black Friday in July,” runs through Sunday, July 13 and has some of the best tech sales online. It’s an especially good option if you’re a My Best Buy “Plus” or “Total” member.

  • Home Depot extended its 4th of July sale through at least July 9, competing with some amazing deals of its own. It’s an especially good option if you’re looking for power tools, appliances, or outdoor equipment.
