Death will continue to come and collect more souls in yet another Final Destination sequel. This year, we got a sixth film, Final Destination Bloodlines, after a 14 year hiatus. It took death’s design to new heights by wiping out not only those who cheated death, but their descendants as well. It’s not clear what path this next Final Destination installment will go down but, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Bloodlines co-writer Lori Evans Taylor will pen its script.Â
We can assume that we will start with a fresh cast, including a protagonist who has a vision that helps several people cheat death. With Tony Todd’s unfortunate passing in real life, that means pretty much all the characters from the franchise are gone now.
The only two left are Kimberly Corman, who successfully cheated death in the second film and spared her life as well as state trooper Thomas Burke. Corman was mentioned but not seen in the most recent film, so maybe she can help the next batch of unfortunate souls attempt to survive.Â
Of course, we will have to wait to learn more details about this Final Destination sequel and what will go down in a seventh film.
