POKEPARK KANTO In Japan Has Real Life Nurse Joy Sarah Campbell | usagoldmines.com

Anyone who grew up on Pokémon remembers certain details that were special to them. Poképark Kanto in Japan is taking those details straight out of the game to engineer a magical experience for fans. We haven’t seen much yet, since the park doesn’t officially open until February of this year, but what we have seen looks delightful. Take the video below, for example. Pink hair and all, Poképark Kanto has a real-life Nurse Joy to heal your Pokémon. And she’s absolutely adorable.

First Look at Nurse Joy in Poképark Kanto!

Nurse Joy is a friendly face that appears throughout the Pokémon world. In the video, we see the character in her familiar fluffy pink dress and nurse hat. Just like the games, it appears that you can visit her at the park’s Poké Center to heal your Pokémon back to full health. The post gives us a taste of that. We see Nurse Joy take a tray of Poké Balls—a very cool detail, by the way—and place them on a table. After she does, the Pokémon that live in each one pop up on a screen with a fun little animation. If this is anything like how the park will actually be, it looks pretty awesome.

The video follows a somewhat confusing string of marketing material for the park, including a fully-animated teaser trailer that gave us nothing concrete apart from a couple of pictures. Now that we have an actual taste of how the park might look and function, we’re more excited than ever. We can only dream the detail will be as immaculate as what we see in the video. If they’re thinking about details as small as Nurse Joy’s outfit, who knows what else is in store. We should have never doubted you, Nintendo.
