THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU Super Bowl Trailer Gives Christmas Card Eric Diaz | usagoldmines.com

This summer welcomes the first Star Wars movie to hit theaters in almost seven years, when The Mandalorian and Grogu arrives in cinemas. And it was easily one of the most anticipated Super Bowl trailers we’d been waiting for. Now it’s here, and you can see a sneak peek of Pedro Pascal as bounty hunter Din Djarin and his adorable “young” charge, the youngling formerly known as Baby Yoda, in their first big-screen adventure together. But Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu Super Bowl trailer is really just a nostalgic, adorable, fluffy homage to Star Wars and everyone’s favorite duo. Plus, it’s narrated by Sam Elliott.

“Sometimes, we choose our paths, other times the path chooses us. Through it all, we keep pushing forward, driven by a deeper purpose, guided by an unseen force. The journey never gets even easier, the bond just gets harder to break. This is the way.” Sam Elliott intones as we see some delightful new footage of The Mandalorian and Grogu. Yes, that’s what The Mandalorian and Grogu‘s Super Bowl trailer has to offer us: a truly adorable look at The Mandalorian, Grogu, and some Tauntauns heading off on their journey. Honestly, The Mandalorian and Grogu‘s Super Bowl trailer is so wholesome, it really reminds us of a Christmas card. It’s so adorable, it melts our hearts.

Of course, we bet the full The Mandalorian and Grogu movie won’t be as adorable as the Super Bowl trailer Here’s the official synopsis for The Mandalorian and Grogu from Lucasfilm:

The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu. Directed by Jon Favreau, “Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu” also stars Sigourney Weaver and is produced by Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni, and Ian Bryce, with music composed by Ludwig Göransson.

Set in the New Republic era, based on this Super Bowl trailer and others before it, The Mandalorian and Grogu looks to be jam-packed with iconic Star Wars goodness. What’s not to like? You’ve got Aliens icon Sigourney Weaver as a New Republic military leader, Jeremy Allen White as a grown-up (and buff!) Rotta the Hutt from The Clone Wars, and Zeb from Rebels. And for some OT vibes, it looks like a return to the planet Hoth. Or, at least a snowy planet with AT-ATs on it that echoes Hoth. We also have what looks like some of Babu Frik’s people. They are the one aspect of The Rise of Skywalker everyone can universally agree was awesome.
