Six men have stood in court accused of trying to interfere with the investigation into the fatal stabbing of 24-year-old Blue Stevens in Knightsbridge last summer.
Prosecutors say the group are charged with perverting the course of justice in connection with Stevens’ death. The 24-year-old was stabbed in front of Marriott’s Park Tower hotel and casino in Knightsbridge, London, in July 2025 and died at the scene.
Adnan Hindawi, 25, Ali Hindawi, 24, Nicholas McCoy, 23, Mozahedul Alam, 26, Shafwan Meah, 20, and Jayden Clement-Bryan, 25, appeared before Westminster Magistrates’ Court on February 9, 2026. The charges were formally brought a month earlier, on January 10.
During the brief hearing, the court was told the case will move to the Central Criminal Court. All six men were granted bail and are expected to appear at the Old Bailey on March 9.
Detectives are still working to trace 25-year-old Youssef Razak, who officers say is wanted in connection with Stevens’ murder. He remains the focus of an active manhunt as specialist officers continue inquiries.
Detective Chief Inspector Samantha Townsend, from the Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime Command, said investigators are pursuing “every possible line of enquiry” while specially trained officers continue to support Stevens’ relatives.
Blue Steven’s family issues appeal
In a statement released through police, Stevens’ family spoke of their devastation and urged anyone with information to come forward. They said: “Nothing can undo what has been taken from us. Our lives will never be happy or complete without our Blue. We are pleading with anyone who has any information about this crime or the offender to come forward. Any information, no matter how small, could help our children to know their father’s life mattered.”
The investigation began on the night of July 9, 2025, when emergency services were called at around 9.24pm to reports of a stabbing in front of Marriott’s Park Tower hotel and casino in Knightsbridge, London, close to the busy shopping district. Paramedics and police officers attempted to save Stevens, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Since then, homicide detectives have been piecing together the events leading up to the attack, reviewing CCTV footage and speaking to potential witnesses. The latest court appearance marks a significant step in the wider case, though the murder inquiry itself remains ongoing.
Police are continuing to appeal for information from the public. Anyone who may have details that could assist the investigation is asked to contact officers, quoting CAD 8521/09JUL25, or to reach out to Crimestoppers anonymously.
