Wednesday season three is officially underway with production happening in Dublin. And, of course, because there are both veteran actors in the series on set as well as new people, it is time to get some casting news. Right off the heels of her final stand against Vecna in Stranger Things, Winona Ryder will join the cast of Wednesday season three in a guest starring role. This is yet another collaboration with Ryder and Jenna Ortega after their turn in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.
Other new actors coming to the Netflix series include Noah Taylor, Chris Sarandon, Oscar Morgan, and Kennedy Moyer. And, Eva Green will take on the role of Aunt Ophelia. It is not clear at this time whom anyone else will portray. Executive producer and director Tim Burton expressed his excitement about more Wednesday and working with Winona Ryder once again. “I’m so excited to be back for Season 3 and it’s great to be reunited with all of the original cast. The addition of some dear friends and past collaborators of mine-Winona, Eva, Chris, Noah…makes this season extra special. I feel very lucky.”
