The Vampire Lestat SLAYS with Second Single, ‘All Fall Down’ Rotem Rusak | usagoldmines.com

Bang, bang. Bang, bang. You know it. You love it. If you’re any kind of The Vampire Lestat fan, darling, you’ve already heard bits and pieces of this song before. Yes, we’re talking about The Vampire Lestat’s delicious second single, “All Fall Down.” It’ll SUCK the air right from your lungs with its catchy beats. And, hey. Lestat KNOWS it is only a minute long. And he doesn’t want to hear it from YOU. Have YOU released not one but two singles? He doesn’t think so. It’s the TikTok generation, mon cher. The Vampire Lestat is simply, as one might say, “with it.” He’s cool, hip, happening, and yes, expects to be BACK at the top of the charts. He told me, “Take that, TayTay.” And yes, I could quote him on that. Below, you can listen to The Vampire Lestat’s second single, “All Fall Down,” released in celebration of The Vampire Lestat‘s premiere date announcement.

LIKE Lestat was saying. He doesn’t want to hear it from you. This a bang, bang-er and everyone knows it. Yes, Armand, even you. We know you bought the t-shirt. In case you’d like to listen again, you can check out this song and “Long Face” on The Vampire Lestat’s official pages.

Additionally, The Vampire Lestat had this to say about his second single, “All Fall Down,”: “’All Fall Down’ is mercifully only 68 seconds long. That’s 54 seconds more Daniel Hart than anyone should suffer. I like the harmonies on the chorus. I did those.” We like them too.

Lestat did not in particularly wish for us to hear from Daniel Hart, but relented to let the composer share about “their” second single, “’All Fall Down’ is both the title track for the new season and the idea for a song by the Vampire Lestat from early in the band’s life. Much like ‘Long Face’, it feels heavily influenced by Bowie, T. Rex, and other 70s rock’n’roll stars who were looking back to the blues as much as they were looking up to the stars for inspiration. ‘All Fall Down’ marks a time in this vampire band’s life when they were still figuring out exactly what their sound was, and before Lestat himself started to change personas and explore other musical styles. At the same time, with ‘All Fall Down’, we tried to capture the overall feeling of this new Lestat we get to know better and better throughout the season: more wild, more raw, more self-deprecatingly funny than ever before.”

And hey, we feel that really comes through in this The Vampire Lestat single. But we won’t tell Lestat that. It turns out that “All Fall Down” is also used in The Vampire Lestat‘s opening title sequence, which you can watch below, and read more about here.

Finally, we have a selection of the lyrics from “All Fall Down” to feed your ravenous appetites: “I’m a little killer. I’m a lonely one. I’m a chill creeping up your spine, telling you to run. I’m a hidden shadow, I’m the last alive. I’m the past and the future, the lance and the suture, a cool death. Where the rock and roll is…” And then “Bang, bang. Bang, Bang… All fall down, burn the ground.” It’s official, The Vampire Lestat’s second single is a BANGER.

The Vampire Lestat releases on June 7. Interview with the Vampire seasons one and two are now streaming on AMC+.
