This MSI 4K OLED gaming monitor is down to just $600 | usagoldmines.com

Amazon’s Prime Day had a bunch of great OLED deals, but some of them weren’t on Amazon… and some of them are sticking around. Take this MSI 4K, 32-inch OLED, for example. Best Buy is selling it for $599.99, a fantastic deal. The store has it marked as a “4th of July Deal,” despite that still being several days away, so I’d assume it’s good through the weekend.

The MSI MAG 321UPXB is an interesting mix of high-end and basic features for an OLED. That 32-inch, 4K panel (3840×2160) is the star of the show, but it also boasts a 240Hz refresh rate. That’s fast enough to be competitive for most online multiplayer games… and fast enough to make even a powerful gaming PC sweat at full resolution. Keep in mind that you might not have the graphical power to max out this monitor’s capabilities on the latest titles. But it’ll still be fun to try.

Elsewhere this monitor is a little bare, definitely intended for gaming desktop setups that don’t have much need for office hardware. You get two DisplayPort 1.4a ports, one HDMI 2.1 port (great for consoles), and a USB-C port with video… but it only outputs 15 watts. That means you’ll definitely need a secondary power source for a laptop, even if it’s not a gaming model. The only other connection is a headphone jack. It doesn’t even have LEDs in the back, which might be breaking some kind of United Nations guideline for gaming monitors.

Even so, $600 for a 4K OLED is nothing to sneeze at, especially if you can get to a Best Buy store and check it out in person. The QD-OLED panel should render text much more sharply than older designs, and MSI will throw in a three year warranty against burn-in. If you need something a little less pricey, then check out this 27-inch, QHD OLED for just $315 — the deal is still active at the time of writing.
