Samsung made it official this afternoon, announcing that the newest addition the Galaxy S26 family, that being the Galaxy S26 FE, will be announced on August 27. Not sure why didn’t shoot for August 26, but it’s fine, I guess.
Samsung says that this device was, “purposefully designed to bring many Galaxy S26 experiences from camera to AI, along with the latest One UI, to those who look for what truly matters most to them.”
As is always the case with the FE line, expect a lot of the features we love about the S26 models, but in a more relatively inexpensive model. It’s always been the beauty of the FE lineup which has been going pretty strong for years now.
For us the West coast, I have bad news. The event is scheduled to start at 9pm KST, which is 5am PST, 8am EST. That’s gonna be an early morning.
