Court Platform Breach Exposes Social Security Numbers of Americans Across 12 States Daily Hodl Agent | usagoldmines.com

A widely used case management platform is notifying multiple appellate courts about unauthorized access exposing sensitive personal data.

The official notice says an unauthorized third party obtained certain C-Track files beginning in March 2026 and remained undetected until June 30, 2026.

The breach affected appellate courts in Alabama, Kentucky, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Wyoming, plus the U.S. Virgin Islands and three Ontario courts.

The notice provides details on what records may have been accessed.

“Based on the investigation, a subset of court records were affected, some of which could potentially contain individuals’ names and possibly one or more of the following: Social Security number, driver’s license number, medical information, date of birth, and health insurance information.”

Certain confidential, redacted or sealed documents may also have been impacted.

The incident took place in the company’s cloud environment rather than court networks themselves.

No financial transaction systems were affected and officials report no evidence of fraud or misuse to date.

Affected individuals are offered 12 months of free credit monitoring with enrollment required by December 31, 2026, via a dedicated hotline.

Additional security measures have been implemented following the discovery.
