HBO newest Game of Thrones spinoff, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, will show viewers why fans of A Song of Ice and Fire adore Dunk and Egg. But that’s not the only place they’ll get to see George R.R. Martin’s beloved duo in action. Zynga has announced the pair are joining its Game of Thrones: Legends mobile game.
Variety first reported that famed Westerosi knight Ser Duncan the Tall and his young squire Egg will join the RPG puzzle gam. In its own announcement, Zynga wrote:
To celebrate the A Knight of a Seven Kingdoms premiere new Champions and a new event will be arriving throughout Spring in Game of Thrones: Legends. Ser Duncan the Tall is available to summon NOW, and will soon be accompanied by his loyal young squire, Egg, who will arrive in early February. These two Champions are designed to be a sturdy and supportive duo, protecting and buffing their allies to create an unstoppable team!
The game’s official site list Duncan’s class, skills, champions, synergies, best team, and more, including his best teammates. As for young Egg, he’ll get in on the fun February 11. That’s when he’ll help Dunk with additional healing and shield powers.
A few days later the game’s new champion will also get a special new event. It’s inspired by the location of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms‘ first season. From February 9 at 1 p.m. ET until February 15 at the same time, players can head to the Tourney at Ashford Meadow for a mini-game event. There they can “enter the list to face off against rival knights in a joust.” From Zynga:
Choose one of three virtues to leverage against your opponents–Speed, Power, or Aim–and compete against the rival knight’s own chosen virtue. Once the joust begins, you will either win and proceed to the next joust and greater rewards, or lose everything you’ve won thus far. Each decision is high-risk, high-reward —after each round, you can decide whether to continue pursuing greater glory or walk away with your winnings.
