Fans of Squid Game are ready for season two to hit Netflix soon. The series will end with a third and final season but that doesn’t mean that stories from this universe are over quite yet. Deadline reports that an English language Squid Game series is in the works at Netflix with David Fincher attached to develop it. This would be the first scripted series to be based off of this show.Â

Netflix isn’t commenting at this time and there are very few details right now. At this point, we may not even know if an English language Squid Game show with David Fincher will see the light of day. We do know how often streaming services cancel shows, sometimes before they even get to fans. Things do seem a bit different here considering that Squid Game has a huge audience and David Fincher’s name is very well-known. He’s done quite a few projects for Netflix, including Mindhunter and House of Cards. Let’s see what happens with this series.
