The exchange pledged to help build a safer crypto market while supporting talent development. Vietnam invited Bybit to apply for its new sandbox framework. This move could position the country as a hub for digital finance.

Bybit and Vietnam Strengthen Crypto Cooperation

Bybit confirmed in a press release that Co-Founder and CEO Ben Zhou, Co-CEO Helen Liu, and CFO Yonghui Tan met Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh on September 24. The meeting took place at the High-Level Dubai Meeting on Vietnam’s Digital Future.

During the talks, the Deputy Prime Minister praised Bybit’s rapid growth and global reach. He underlined Vietnam’s goal of creating a pilot legal framework for digital assets. The plan aims to build an International Financial Center while ensuring safe participation for local users.

Bybit said it is ready to work with regulators and share best practices from other markets. It also plans to assist in training blockchain talent and providing compliance expertise. According to CEO Ben Zhou, Vietnam’s market has over 2.5 million Bybit users, around 15% of its crypto population.

Building Vietnam’s Blockchain Sandbox and IFC

Vietnam’s sandbox program will serve as a testing ground for crypto projects under government oversight. Bybit has been invited to participate and contribute its insights from operating at a global scale.

Helen Liu said the exchange views Vietnam as a strategic partner in digital transformation. She stressed the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors to create a safe ecosystem.

Bybit’s pledge comes as Vietnam pushes to become a regional fintech leader. The IFC project aims to position the country as a destination for global capital and innovation.

The meeting signaled confidence from both sides. Bybit will now work closely with regulators to ensure that future frameworks balance innovation with user protection.
