Yes, you read that right. Depeche Mode’s iconic single “Just Can’t Get Enough” was performed using pots, pans, a refrigerator, and even some pigs. French musical troupe Les Fo’Plafonds used 100% recycled items to produce the cover. They are able to capture the charm of the original song down to every small detail in the musical track. Les Fo’Plafonds also has other covers, like a mashup of the Ghostbusters theme with Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and “The Final Countdown,” all made using recycled household items. They get really creative with some of the items they use, including the aforementioned squeaky pigs. Their use of a pressure cooker whistle to create the small “ahh” sound in the song’s track particularly impressed me.
