He may have hopped over to Critical Role to lead the series’ most recent campaign, but that doesn’t mean he’s left behind his cast of heroes at Dropout’s Dimension 20. Mulligan returns to host the latest season, entitled City Council of Darkness, which sets up a fangtastic adventure of vampiric tabletop goodness. Ahead of the first episode, Dimension 20 launches a video explaining everything you need to know to understand Vampire: The Masquerade.

City Council of Darkness is the latest chapter of Dropout’s anthology actual-play show. The season of Dimension 20 follows the Vampire: The Masquerade system, which is similar to other TTRPG’s like D&D. However, there is some variation when it comes to the rules. For instance, Vampire: The Masquerade uses special d10s to determine outcomes. In addition to the regular dice, the game also has red hunger dice, which directly correlate to each character’s bloodlust. Skye explains it all in the video.
What will the Storyline of the City Council of Darkness be about?
The chapter introduces Mulligan and his entourage as a group of vampires running for local government in the desolate town of Purpee, Oregon. The vampiric escapades of Dimension 20 unfold over 14 episodes. The story is packed full of dark creatures and their inner conflict of bloodlust.
When Does the Season Come Out?
