EA Sports FC has introduced its first paid battle pass priced at 500K in-game UT Coins. The firm also revealed that players can purchase the premium version of the Season 7 pass for 1000 FC Points, around 9 euros.
The company said that access to the pass will reward players with tradable packs, Season Point boosters, TOTS items, evolution consumables and retro cosmetic evolutions. The pass will also include an exclusive 96-rated Immortal Icon Franck Ribery.

EA Sports has revealed its first paid battle pass as part of Season 7 in EA SPORTS FC 25 ahead of the game’s Team of the Season (TOTS) event. The firm also noted it introduced a new tier to the Season Pass to give players more options when choosing what content they want to pursue across multiple modes.
EA Sports FC revealed that its premium version of the Season 7 pass will be priced at 500K in-game UT Coins. The company also added that players can buy the battle pass for 1000 FC Points, approximately 9 euros.
The gaming firm highlighted that access to the 40-tier pass will begin today, April 24. It also maintained that the pass will reward tradable packs for the first time as part of Seasonal Rewards. According to EA, the pass’ centerpiece is an exclusive 96-rated Immortal Icon Franck Ribery, the former French winger who spent most of his career at Bayern Munich.
The company’s Live Content Development team acknowledged that the Premium Pass will be available in Football Ultimate Team mode, Clubs, and Manager/Player Career mode.
EA maintained that while the Premium Pass wouldn’t change, it would be “monitoring your feedback to make sure we deliver the best experience possible in whatever mode you play in FC moving forward.” The company also invited anyone with feedback to provide it via the EA Sports Discord or EA’s own direct feedback portal.

EA also acknowledged it will introduce Season Point boosters, where players will receive 10,000 SP at level 20 of the Premium Pass. The company said that the boosters will unlock up to 10 levels of the Premium and Standard Pass Seasonal ladder.
“If you have less than 10 levels remaining on the ladder, the boost here will take you to the final level,” the gaming company added.
“No matter when during Season 7 or at what level you decide to get the Premium Pass, you will retroactively earn all the Premium Pass rewards from the levels that you’ve completed.”

The company highlighted that players will be able to redeem their 10,000 SP by claiming the reward on either the FC Season menu in the Ultimate Team game mode or via the FC Hub on the main menu. EA added that if players redeem SP through either source, it will automatically increase their earned SP by up to 10,000 (to a maximum of 40,000 / Level 40).
EA Sports FC revealed that players can earn evolution consumables, which provide Role++ and Playstyle+ improvements. The firm also introduced retro cosmetic evolutions and promised to add more retro shell designs from Football Ultimate Team history.
The company mentioned that the retro shell designs to come will be TOTS-themed, similar to the cosmetic evolutions introduced during FUT Birthday. The gaming firm also introduced TOTS items, including TOTS Flashbacks and TOTS Honourable Mentions (based on 2024/2025 performances).
The firm’s update has drawn somewhat mixed opinions on social media. One user called Wildcat argued that having Player EXCLUSIVE to the Paid Season pass “is extremely greedy and is not the path to go down.” Another social media user called Callum added,“I ain’t sticking up for EA, but if that Ribery was an SBC, everyone would be happy spending 500K on it, let alone the other rewards.”
