During the Halloween season, Universal Studios becomes a melting pot for the many ghosts and ghouls that lurk at every corner for Halloween Horror Nights. Soon, everything that goes bump in the night will be replaced with merriment and holiday cheer. Universal Studios Hollywood announced Wednesday that it will soon welcome guests to a twinkling winter wonderland. Grab your hot cocoa and Christmas sweaters: here’s every festive attraction coming to the park for the 2025-2026 holiday season.
Grinchmas
Visitors to the park will have the chance to step inside the cheery streets of Whoville as Grinchmas returns to Universal Studios. A flurry of white snow transforms Universal Plaza into a land of merriment, complete with a 65-foot-tall Christmas tree at the center. Festivities will include nightly tree lighting ceremonies, themed performances, and joyous interactive activities.
Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter
Twinkling lights, magical garlands, and bright wreaths will bring a little bit of Christmas cheer to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Wizards and muggles alike will also be able to enjoy the angelic sounds of traditional a cappella performances from The Frog Choir.
By night, the magic of Christmas comes to life at Hogwarts Castle with a spectacular light projection show. The dazzling show will be accompanied by a medley of music from the film series.
Winter Cheer in Mushroom Kingdom at Super Nintendo World
The Mushroom Kingdom at Super Nintendo World welcomes two jolly snowmen to spread the festive fun. One sports Mario’s signature red hat and scarf, while the other dons Luigi’s green cap and scarf. The merry pair stand alongside a sparkling tree topped with a Super Star. The Instagram-ready scene is sure to bring a smile.
During the winter season, guests will be able to collect seasonal digital stamps using their interactive Power-Up Bands. From December 1 through February 28, the exclusive “Winter Wonder” stamp is up for grabs. Additionally, a festive “Holiday Party” stamp will be available in the month of December only.
When Will the Festivities Begin?
The holiday cheer begins at Universal Studios on November 24 and will run daily through January 4, 2026. All Christmas festivities are included with admission. With so much merriment to look forward to, we are brimming with excitement for this year’s holiday season.
For now, visitors can still stop by the park for a good scare. Spooky season still in full swing, Halloween Horror Nights continues until November 2.
