It’s almost time to head back into the Wasteland. Fallout season two will be here before we know it. And this time, the Fallout series is heading to a very important games location, New Vegas. Of course, with such an epic setting comes A LOT of pressure because Fallout: New Vegas is widely known to be the most popular of the Fallout games. Many questions are circulating in fandom right now, including what ending will Fallout canonize for New Vegas? But we have faith the incredible adaptation will find a way to thread all the needles. In the meantime, Fallout has released new season two posters that tease some of the iconic factions we’ll see appear in New Vegas: Caesar’s Legion, The Kings, and the Brotherhood.

Lucy and Caesar’s Legion Rule in New Fallout Season 2 Poster
Lucy is Okey-Dokeying with her thumbs up, but she doesn’t look too sure about her position in this new Fallout season two poster. And can you really blame her? She’s in the thick of Caesar’s Legion. And, uhm, that’s… if our notes are correct, a totalitarian dictatorship and a slaver society… That may or may not be run by Macaulay Culkin. Yikes.
In Fallout: New Vegas, you can elect to stand behind Caesar’s Legion and help it to overtake New Vegas. In Fallout season two, it looks like the Legion is doing a bit better than they were when we first met them in Fallout: New Vegas. But does that mean they’ve won the war? Probably not, but we’re curious to know what they’re up to.
In the Fallout season two teaser trailer, we saw the back of Caesar’s head in a brief glimpse, and that look made us think Macaulay Culkin might be the man under the crown. But is this the same Caesar from New Vegas or merely A Ceaser who now rules the Legion? Only time will tell.
The Ghoul Is The King of The Kings
The Kings are a more minor faction in Fallout: New Vegas than Caesar’s Legion. They’re certainly not taking over New Vegas any time soon. But they do have a starring role in this new Fallout season two poster, and we’re honestly thrilled to see them. What could be more fitting for a dystopian wasteland than a faction of people who accidentally come to believe that Elvis Presley is god? We stan.
The Kings came to life in Fallout: New Vegas when their founder stumbled upon a pre-Great War institution known as the King’s School of Impersonation. There, he learned all about “the King,” his style, vibes, and ideals, and decided to take them on for himself and his followers. The one thing he didn’t learn was “The King’s” true name; the words Elvis Presley were lost to time in Fallout: New Vegas. Instead, the Kings believe “The King” is an ancient deity that they can worship by wearing leather, jeans, and hair gel. The Kings also take the idea of kingliness very literally and believe “every man is a king in his own right,” making them much more into freedom and personal rights than most Fallout factions.
Incredibly, it seems like The Kings have all become ghouls in the time that’s passed between Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout season two. But even with shades and coiffs, they’re still no match for THE Ghoul.
Maximus and The Brotherhood of Steel Are Back
Of course, in the mix are Maximus and The Brotherhood of Steel. At the end of Fallout season one, Maximus inadvertently became the leader of The Brotherhood after it looked like he’d killed the New California Republic’s leader, Moldaver. Maximus looks both fierce and ready to take charge AND on the verge of being swallowed up in this new Fallout season two poster. We know his heart isn’t precisely in The Brotherhood and its lifestyle anymore. But we don’t know what he’s going to do about it.
Dogmeat and a Gang of Radscorpions
The bestest boy of Fallout needed his own season two poster. In this poster, we see Dogmeat, also known as CX404 surrounded by a group of menacing Radscorpions. But hopefully they know that Dogmeat is friend not foe, as the pup and his company head to New Vegas in Fallout season two.
Fallout Season 2 Will See a Clash of Factions
No doubt, as Fallout season two moves to New Vegas, we’ll see all these factions and more come to life. And we bet they don’t all intend on getting along. Who will come out the victor, though? We’re personally rooting for Dogmeat.
Fallout season two releases on December 17. It will release one episode weekly and will have a total of eight episodes.
