We have ushered in a new era of Arrakis. With the first teaser for Dune: Part Three dropping on March 17, anticipation is at a new high for the next installment of Denis Villeneuve’s film trilogy. There’s a lot happening in the lore-packed trailer, so much so that the average Joe isn’t even sure where to begin breaking it all down. If you haven’t actually read Frank Herbert’s 1969 novel, Dune Messiah, in which the movie is based on, you’re probably even more confused. Dune: Part Three doesn’t land in theaters until December. Recall from the end of part two that Chani flees after Paul joins Princess Irulan in a marriage of political convenience. What will become of the child, we don’t know (buuuuut you would if you read the novel.) The teaser also reveals our first look at Robert Pattinson as Scytale.
