It’s time to get your share of the current hottest crypto sector, RWA. Larry Fink, BlackRock’s CEO, is a big supporter of tokenizing assets. In other words, RWA is here to stay. One project that has recently been in the spotlight for all the right reasons is Ondo Finance ($ONDO).
Recently, lots of exciting and positive news came from Ondo Finance. This year, RWA should reach a $50 billion market. However, for 2030 the prediction is $30 trillion. So, this begs the question, how many $ONDO does it take to become a millionaire.
What Is Cooking at Ondo Finance ($ONDO)
Ondo Finance ($ONDO) has been on fire. During its recent Ondo Summit in NYC, it unleashed an avalanche of positive news. You may want to check my recent video on Ondo Finance, in which I explain what it is. But don’t worry, I will give a recap here as well. After that, I will get into all the news that’s coming from Ondo.
So, Ondo Finance caters to institutions. However, there’s also room for retail to enjoy Ondo products. Ondo Finance is also compliant. So, before you can start using their platforms, you need to complete a KYC. Ondo offers two products and various platforms. So, let’s take a look at them.
Two Different Stablecoins
Their two products are two different stablecoins.
- $USDY — This is a yield bearing token, and it’s transferable. At the beginning of each month, Ondo determines the yield for that month. The interest compounds daily. Ondo secures $USDY with short-term US Treasuries. So, $USDY investments are transferred into USD. The USD goes into their investment accounts. However, this coin is not available in the US.

- $OUSG — This stablecoin aims at institutions, but also at Qualified Purchasers. So, also retail gets a shot at this. For example, $OUSG stablecoin is now available on the XRP Ledger. This aims at institutions. However, Ondo also works together with BlackRock’s BUIDL fund. Minimum investments require $5 million. Now, I don’t know about you, but I don’t have that lying around. So, with $OUSG, the minimal investment threshold drops to $100,000. It is still a lot of money, but much more affordable for retail. $OUSG (Ondo Short-Term US Government Treasuries) is also backed by US treasuries.

This is also the first-time non-Americans have easy access to investing in Treasuries and earning interest in USD. Non-US residents have limitations with his.
Another advantage of Ondo is that it’s open 24/7. This means that you can access it during weekends and bank holidays.
Ondo Finance Latest News
Ondo Finance recently had its Ondo Summit in NYC on 6th February. This is where they launched a lot of their recent news updates. Here’s a selection of them.
- Ondo launched their Global Markets platform. I’ve mentioned the platform before, so this is their newest one. On this platform you have access to tokenized stocks, bonds, and ETFs. Unfortunately, this is once again not available in the US.

- Ondo now also has its own Layer 1 blockchain. That’s because regular chains didn’t offer what Ondo needed. Regulated assets need special attention. Their own Ondo chain can handle these institutional-grade real-world assets. The chain is a mix of public and permissioned blockchains.

- During the summit, Donald Trump Jr was a surprise speaker. This fits in the Trump DeFi platform, World Liberty Financial. It invested $5 million in total into $ONDO.
Ondo also announced a strategic collaboration with WLFI. The video shows Donald Trump’s Jr appearance at the Ondo Summit.
TA & $ONDO Tokenomics
$ONDO’s most recent support was around the 60 cents range. It hasn’t been below this support since March last year. So, I don’t see the $ONDO price hitting this support anytime soon. The current resistance is $2.14. That’s also its current ATH, from only two months ago. Once it breaks through this resistance, it’s all discovery.
Let’s also take a short look at $ONDO’s tokenomics. There’s a vesting schedule, which is not unusual. However, there’s only one unlock per year. That’s each year on 18th January, for the next three years. After the recent unlock of 1.94 billion $ONDO worth $2.72 billion, its price didn’t crash! Holders held onto their tokens. However, out of the 10 billion $ONDO tokens, only 3.1 billion circulate.

How Many $ONDO to Become a Millionaire
So, let’s get to the nitty-gritty. How many $ONDO do you need to become a millionaire?
- Well, at the current $ONDO price of $1.35, you will need 740,740 $ONDO.
- The next target could be $4. So, you will need 250,000 $ONDO.

- On the way up, the next steps are $7,50 and $10. Now you need respectively 133,333 and 100,000 $ONDO.
- $20 is also a possibility during this bull run. Now you will need 50,000 $ONDO.
- Now, as the max and probably stretching it a bit during this bull run, let’s look at $30. This requires you to get 33,333 $ONDO.
- However, I do see $ONDO doing a 50x, but not now. Maybe in 2030. That would give us a $67.50 price. If you want to wait that long, you only need 14,815 $ONDO. And at the current price of $1.35, that means it costs $20,000 now for $1 million potential.
