In 2023 Prime Video’s Jury Duty asked someone to serve their civic duty. That person thought they were taking part in the judicial system. But in reality, they were serving a very different kind of civic duty: entertaining TV fans. The hoax series had one unknowing person participate in a scripted trial. Now the show from co-creators Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky is back with another unwitting party. Only, this time, instead of adjudicating a case, they’ll be joining a company at a very silly crossroads. And the first trailer for Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat promises that a change of venue won’t mean a change in comedy.
Get ready to head to Rockin’ Grandma’s Annual Company Retreat, a fake company where everyone is an actor save for one. If you missed Jury Duty‘s first season and don’t know how it works, season two’s synopsis explains the amazing premise. From Prime Video:
Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat is a documentary-style comedy that captures a corporate offsite event at a family-owned hot sauce company from the perspective of Anthony, a recently hired temporary worker. Unbeknownst to Anthony, the entire experience is staged, every colleague around him is performing a role, and each moment – whether in conference rooms or during downtime – has been meticulously orchestrated. As the founder prepares to step down, the getaway transforms into a clash between big corporate ambitions and small business values, with control of the company hanging in the balance.
As we can see in the trailer for Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat, season two cast stars Alex Bonifer, Blair Beeken, Emily Pendergast, Erica Hernandez, Jerry Hauck, Jim A. Woods, LaNisa Renee Frederick, Marc-Sully Saint-Fleur, Rachel Kaly, Rob Lathan, Ryan Perez, Stephanie Hodge, Warren Burke, and Wendy Braun. Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat will kick off on March 20, 2026. with three episodes. Two more installments will follow on March 27. Anthony’s time with the company will then end with the three-episode finale on April 3.
