Love Hurts has a title that truly encapsulates the feeling of the movie. There’s deep emotion but also a lot of action. And, of course, many laughs. To help you get a taste of what the movie has in store, we have an exclusive clip from Love Hurts to reveal. In it, Ke Huy Quan’s Marvin Gable teams up with none other than Property Brother Drew Scott, who joins the movie as rival real estate agent Jeff Zaks. It’s a hilarious scene, one that combines a ton of gunshots and martial arts with the deep meta fun of seeing Scott and a little bit of sweetness between the pair.

We definitely had “action hero and leading man Ke Huy Quan stars in an incredible movie” on our bingo cards for 2025. But we admit that we did not envision the concept of “action hero and leading man Ke Huy Quan teams up with Property Brother Drew Scott, who is also bringing some moves of his own to the party” in our wildest dreams. But we’re definitely happy to have received it in Love Hurts. There’s something so instinctively hilarious about seeing the wholesome real estate sibling launch a series of slashes and punches as he snarls, “I’m a black belt, motherf*cker.” If this Love Hurts clip and cameo don’t have you ready to see the rest of the wonders the movie has in store, we don’t know what will.
And, as we mentioned, this Love Hurts exclusive sneak peek clip gives you a taste of a little bit of everything you’ll discover in the rest of the movie. There’s intense action, cool weaponry, many kinds of fighting styles, but also a good dose of humanity, heart, and humor. Even amidst a flurry of bullets, Drew Scott’s Jeff remembers to congratulate Ke Huy Quan’s Marvin on receiving the Regional Realtor of the Year award. (A prize they were no doubt both vying for.) It’s a nice moment between comrades, and it makes us smile. We really do love this Love Hurts cameo.
As Property Brother Drew Scott shares in another featurette, his Love Hurts cameo is “a little dusty, a little dirty, but it’s awesome.”
Of course, our hands-down favorite part of this exclusive Love Hurts clip is when Ke Huy Quan’s Marvin reappears to assure everyone that he knows guys who can patch up the shot-up house like new. Hey, he’s not Regional Realtor of the Year for nothing. No matter how many times we play the clip, it always gets a sincere laugh. Ke Huy Quan’s comedic timing is genius.
