With LandRocker, we find ourselves in the blockchain gaming space. LandRocker is about to revolutionize Play-to-Earn gaming. It does this by delivering a true gaming experience. That’s why game quality is a high priority. The team addresses two critical issues: inflation and trust. Their solution is groundbreaking and harmonizes Play-to-Earn with Play-to-Win.
Let’s take a closer look at what LandRocker is all about.
What Is LandRocker?
LandRocker plans to revolutionize the blockchain gaming sector. It wants to do this by combining Play-to-Earn with Play-to-Win. The team also emphasizes game quality. In other words, by making the game fun. That’s why the game offers a full 3D environment. The 3D environment is only available on your PC at launch. However, you can access this on other platforms in the future. This should attract not only existing blockchain gamers but also current Web2 gamers.
The game is about battle discovery and space exploration. There are 79 quintillion planets to explore. This makes the scope of the game almost limitless. To put this in perspective, there are more stars than in the Milky Way. Conquering a star will also allow you to earn passive income.
LandRocker drew inspiration from various other games. For example, HELLDIVERS is one of them. During your adventures in the game, you can find NFTs, tokens, and valuable loot. The game currently offers three game modes.
Play-to-Liberate — Free planets from alien control. This allows you to mine them and unlock new gameplay.
Play-to-Earn — Use Rovers on liberated planets to mine them. This is how you can craft new gear and upgrade equipment.
Play-to-Win — This feature adds a competitive touch. It allows you to undertake risky missions. As a reward, you can win crypto.
The Rover that I mentioned is an important tool for all game features. It allows you to mine, and you can use it in combat. Each player starts with a basic version. However, during the game, you can upgrade it. Furthermore, you can also replace it with a superior and NFT-based Rover.
The $LRT token powers the game. So, let’s take a closer look at this token. The following video takes you on a walk through the game.
The $LRT Token
The $LRT token is the governance and utility token of the LandRocker ecosystem. The token will launch in late May. Their token pre-sale sold out. To clarify, the team raised $2,876,635 with their pre-sale.
The first listing for the token will be on Uniswap. However, more listings on CEXes are coming as well. For instance, MEXC, Gate.io, and KuCoin are in the pipeline. The team is also eyeing CEXes like OKX, Binance, and ByBit.
Some key investors in the game are, for example, INFINITE8. This is also the parent company. There were also select private investors. However, the community raised the largest part of these funds. As already mentioned, LandRocker puts an emphasis on game quality. As a result, the team dedicates its $2.8 million in funding to the game development.
There are also some strong strategic partnerships. These include, among others, ImmutableX, SKALE, and GateLabs. But let’s take a closer look at the tokenomics for the $LRT token.
With the $LRT token, you can buy in-game tokens. For example, fuel, rovers, materials, or blueprints. You can visit their dedicated marketplace for this. Fuel is important, since it allows you to travel to new planets. There’s also an option to stake your $LRT. As rewards, you can get new $LRT tokens, Rovers, or fuel.
There will also be seasonal leaderboards, these can earn you more $LRT. Furthermore, $LRT is on the Polygon chain. This makes it an EVM-compatible token. The total token supply is 10 billion $LRT. No less than 35% of the supply goes to game incentives. Like, P2E or staking. There’s also a vesting schedule. For example, the team’s supply has a 24-month vesting schedule. The picture below shows the $LRT token distribution.

LandRocker Game Launch
The official LandRocker game hasn’t launched yet. However, the launch date is imminent. Nonetheless, the game already had a successful web-based Beta version. During this test phase, the game onboarded over 75k unique active wallets.
This BETA Lite Game was a 2D version. However, the game will start with a PC-based 3D game version. Other formats will follow later with a 3D version. The game should launch around the token listing with Season Zero or the Liberation Mode. There will be a total leaderboard prize pool of 20 Million LRT tokens. This will be a 12-week off-chain test season. However, there will be weekly leaderboards.
Keep in mind that the game is free to play. Everyone who plays will earn. The game bases rewards on each player’s share of total points. Hence, all participants receive a part of the prize pool.
