LEGO builders know better than anyone what color bricks exist out there. Of course, there’s a plethora of blacks, whites, and grays, which are the most common shades. LEGO has also sprinkled out its fair share of reds, blues, and oranges over the years. But pink is a rarity. That’s about to change. Valentine’s Day isn’t the only thing “rosy” to look forward to. Announced in December, LEGO introduces two brand new colors to the brick palette for 2026: Warm Pink and Blue Violet. That makes this the first new pink brick in over twenty years.
Warm Pink Appears in LEGO’s Love Birds Set

Warm Pink isn’t the first pink brick to enter the LEGO world, but they are few and far between. Before 2026, there was only one other true pink hue: Bright Pink. You may remember the salmon-colored brick from the Bonsai Tree set. Other than that, nada. Every other “pink” brick falls somewhere between bright purple and light red. Even then, most of the colors you would consider an offshoot of pink are retired. There was also a medium dark pink released in 1992, but that brick only lasted a single year, making Warm Pink the first true pink we’ve seen in more than thirty years.
Color purges are much more common than adding new ones into the rotation. And pink has been tossed to the side for decades. Needless to say, LEGO fans are freaking out over this rosy announcement. It is a long time coming. And soon, we’ll see Warm Pink everywhere.
LEGO is blessing us with more than just a new pink brick this year. Joining Warm Pink is another LEGO color, Blue Violet, which falls into azure territory. Since blue bricks are far from uncommon, this second color is not nearly as exciting. A couple of the upcoming sets featuring Warm Pink are the Japanese Cherry Blossom set and the adorable Love Birds set. Both look amazing.
For long-time LEGO builders who can instantly tell the difference between pink and “sorta-pink but not really pink,” this is revolutionary. Welcome to the family Warm Pink (and Blue Violet).
