Stranger Things 5 got off to an explosive start, as the Upside Down’s leader made his presence felt in Hawkins, Indiana, once again. Now, Vecna wants to make his presence felt in your home, too. And he’s going to do that by bringing his house to yours. LEGO and Netflix are partnering on a new Stranger Things 5 set inspired by the show’s most notorious residence, the Creel House.
The massive new 2,593-piece LEGO Icons Stranger Things: The Creel House Set recreates the Hawkins home of Henry/One/Vecna. (Yeah, Derek is right. That is too many names.) This house is more than just a buildable model, though. It is also an all-new type of buildable collectible. This is LEGO’s first-ever transforming house set. That will let fans display Stranger Things‘ notorious gothic manor in whatever state of LEGO array or disarray they like.
You can build your LEGO Stranger Things 5 Creel House set to look either boarded up or unsealed. And thanks to a hidden mechanism, it splits apart along the exterior “to reveal the interdimensional horror lurking beneath.”
There’s a lot to display, too. Featuring a “richly detailed façade and open-back design,” LEGO’s new Stranger Things Creel House set contains seven furnished rooms steeped in the show’s lore, from Stranger Things 1 to Stranger Things 5. You’ll find Alice and Henry’s bedrooms, the haunted upstairs hallway, and Vecna’s Mind Lair, where the “infamous grandfather clock that’s ticked through many a nightmare” stands.
The Creel House isn’t the only buildable part of this Stranger Things 5 LEGO set, though. It also comes with a buildable version of Steve’s car, the WSQK radio station van, and Will’s bike. And the set also comes with tons of Easter eggs—like Max’s cassette tape and Henry’s mind flayer sketch—from all five seasons.
Of course, you can’t have a home without people and/or monsters to fill it, and this LEGO house has plenty of both. The new LEGO set includes Stranger Things 5 minifigures for Eleven, Will, Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Holly, Steve, Nancy, Robin, Jonathan, Max, Mr. Whatsit, and Vecna; that’s 13 Stranger Things minifigures in total.
The LEGO Icons Stranger Things: The Creel House set will go on sale for $299.99. It will be available for LEGO Insiders starting January 1, the day after the series finale of Stranger Things premieres. Everyone else can grab theirs beginning on the 4th at LEGO.com/StrangerThings and in LEGO Stores. Everyone who grabs this transforming collectible by January 7th will also get a bonus Stranger Things: WSQK Radio Station set. (While supplies last.) That bonus comes with Joyce and Hopper minifigures. We MUST have it.
Whether you put LEGO Joyce in your Stranger Things 5 LEGO Creel House is up to you. But if she is moving into your home, maybe keep your Christmas lights up a little longer this year.
