As the MCU gears up for Phase 6 with The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Kevin Feige is talking to literally everyone and anyone. This next Phase is very likely his last one with the studio, so he’s saying what he feels like saying. From admitting he’s never been satisfied with an MCU film to revealing that there will be a big “reset” of the universe, there’s a lot for fans to chew on. But, once this phase is all said and done in 2027, what will happen next? That remains to be seen but Feige says that Marvel Studios is already planning the next three phases of the MCU.
“I mean, we’re working on the next… A saga’s three phases, so we’re working on the next three right now,” Feige told Comicbook.com. “But really, the first one of the next saga is directly impacted by what we’re doing right now with these movies and Secret Wars.”
A previous Variety interview with the Marvel boss also revealed that the studio has mapped out movies all the way to 2032. That’s five years after the end of Phase 6 of the MCU with Avengers: Doomsday. So there’s much, much more to come from this universe. We don’t know what to expect or even what to put on our MCU wish list. We just hope that the plan continues to thrill us with more heroic stories.
