Ororo Munroe has lived many lives. As the weather-controlling hero Storm, she’s been the X-Men’s mutant mistress of the elements, and worshipped as a goddess in Kenya. She’s also wielded an Asgardian hammer, and most recently, joined the Avengers. Now, the folks at Mondo honor the iconic Marvel heroine in her most famous era with several new collectibles based on her X-Men ’97 appearance.
X-Men ’97 – Storm 1/6 Scale Figure – Timed Edition
First, there’s a deluxe new Storm 1/6 Scale action figure. Packed with swappable hands and portraits, Storm comes with attachable lightning effects, and Easter egg accessories inspired by X-Men: The Animated Series. Her swappable heads feature her different hairstyles from the iconic ’90s cartoon show. You can pre-order this Storm figure for $245, expected to ship in August 2026.
Storm #5 (Timed Edition) Poster
Also available from Mondo is this gorgeous print of the weather goddess, a screenprinted reproduction of Marvel Comics’ Storm issue #5 (April 2025) variant cover with artwork by Tran Nguyen. This is Storm once again in her iconic ’90s costume, designed by Jim Lee for X-Men #1 back in 1991. Although she has worn many different costumes, including a punk mohawk phase, for many fans, this is Storm’s signature look. This timed print will set you back $80 and ship in March 2026. Storm Enamel Pin
And last, but certainly not least, Mondo has a new Storm enamel pin from artist Tom Whalen. This 1.8″ high soft enamel pin has a single post on silver metal with a silver clutch backing. Mondo designed it to evoke the look of the corner boxes adorning the covers of Marvel Comics back in the day. You can pre-order this one for a mere $15. December is the expected shipping date.
