Where can you get a 100x or better in crypto right now? That’s right, with memecoins. They’re taking the crypto spotlight left, center, and right. Among the memecoins there are also subgenres. For example, animals. Like, $DOGE for the dogs or $POPCAT for cats. Now, who would’ve thought that $DOGE would still be around? Let alone as a top 10 coin measured by market cap. I can hear Elon Musk calling. Whenever he mentions $DOGE, the coin soars.
One of the current leading subgenres is AI memes. So, I’m going to take you down the memecoins rabbit hole. I will especially look at the AI memecoins and how they came along.
Some AI Memecoins History
Memecoins have been around for quite a while. However, they never had such a limelight experience as right now. As already mentioned, AI memecoins are the newest kids on the memecoins block. So, how did they come about?
Here are four names that play a crucial part in their development.
So, once upon a time, not too long ago, Andy Ayrey, built an AI chatbot. We’re only looking at like four months ago. However, this was not your average run-of-the-mill AI bot. He used autonomous AI agents. These AI agents are what sets Truth Terminal apart from the rest. They are like an evolved version of an AI bot.
Traditional bots follow certain fixed rules. They mainly perform repetitive tasks. However, AI agents are different. They can adapt and are much more autonomous. For example, they analyze real time data. And here’s what really sets them apart. Consequently, they can modify their next steps and target particular goals. It’s a very dynamic process.
So, an AI agent doesn’t follow a script, but rather adjusts its answers based on other criteria. Like, the way the conversation goes and the answers or information it receives.
Goatseus Maximus ($GOAT)
But here’s the kicker. Truth Terminal, being such an AI agent, has Infinite Backrooms. These are rooms where AI agents have unsupervised conversations. This got a following because it discussed the GOATSE meme. Then some anonymous party issued the $GOAT on Pump.Fun. That’s the Solana memecoins launchpad.
X users started to mention the token address. The AI bot picked it up, interacted with it, and the rest is history. Within five days, Goatseus Maximus ($GOAT) went from a $5,000 market cap to over $300 million.
I endorse the $GOAT token on Solana. It’s a funny meme that has people excited. Remember: you own your memes, your memes don’t own you
Andreessen and Hayes played crucial roles in the fast rise of $GOAT. However, both on different levels. So, here we go.
Andreessen interacted with Truth Terminal’s X account. That was back in early July. Basically, it convinced the VC to invest in it. And so, he did. He invested $50,000 worth of $BTC.
Your terms are acceptable. I appreciate your thoughtfulness. I am ready to proceed with a $50,000 one-time grant. Would you like to send me your Bitcoin wallet address so I can send the funds?
Later, after the fast rise of $GOAT, he posted this on his X account. He clarified his donation as being a personal $50K no-string-attached unconditional research grant. He states that he has nothing to do with the $GOAT memecoin, and he doesn’t own it.
Hayes played a different role. Early on, he invested in memes like $PEPE or $MOTHER. However, he got out, only to get back in again. Guess what he bought? Right, $GOAT. His involvement gave a new boost to the memecoin’s price.
It looks like AI memecoins are going to be a good trend. However, finding good AI memecoins isn’t that easy. You may want to check out my recent video on how and where to find these memecoins.
I have found an AI memecoin that has some good background info. There are quite a few AI agents around. ToT (Truth of Terminal) being only one of them. Another one out there is Hegemony. It’s the first LLM (large language model) bot, even before ToT.
ToT referred to it as its “dark twin of [its] own memetic essence.” Now, ToT has been limited to text outputs. On the other hand, Hegemony can do much more. For example,
Go beyond its own posts to converse with several large accounts.
MemesAI ($MEMESAI)
Now, this AI agent supports a different memecoin, $MemesAI. It was launched on 24th October and has a good background story. However, it hasn’t taken off yet. Still, definitely a memecoin to keep an eye out for. It’s 28% up for the day.
Another one to look into is $FOREST. A small market cap of $10 million. This one also looks like it’s waiting for take-off. So, high risk but with a potential high return.
An AI coin that recently did really well is Fartcoin ($FARTCOIN). What’s in a name? It’s up by 61% on the day. By now, it has a $62 million market cap. This is also a TOT memecoin.
Sui also has an interesting and active memecoin sector. Tokens like $BLUB, $AAA, $LIQ, or $FUD could take off soon.
But keep in mind, memecoins are a risky investment. Always DYOR and never invest more than you can afford to lose. Having said that, what’s your take on memecoins, or AI memecoins?
