You know, we were just thinking to ourselves that what we really need in our lives is a Mighty Morphin Power Rangers LEGO set. No, literally, we were. It just makes sense—we already have many Iron Man LEGO sets out there, there are Transformers LEGO sets, and there are even ninjas galore in LEGO’s world! LEGO Power Rangers literally makes perfect sense from a building and nostalgia point of view. But, honestly, our daydreams didn’t even come close to TrumanBricks’ LEGO Ideas “Go Go Power Rangers! Lego Megazord” creation—which takes the concept of a Power Rangers LEGO set to the next level. We mean, a LEGO set where you can build the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers’ five individual zords and then COMBINE them into the Dino Megazord? Get out of here! We NEED this Power Rangers LEGO set to happen.

Here’s the full vision of this Mighty Morphin Power Rangers LEGO set from its creator:
Go go Power Rangers! This set is for all the giant robot fans and 90s kids out there! Featuring the Megazord! From the 90s hit series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The set includes a fully transformable Megazord, and 5 Power Rangers minifigures.
The Dino Megazord can be separated into the five zords:
- Mastodon
- Pterodactyl
- Triceratops
- Saber-tooth Tiger
- Tyrannosaurus
Each zord has posable limbs, and is designed to match the original TV appearance. They can combine to form the giant robot (Dino Megazord). The Megazord has many movable joints: head, shoulders, elbow, wrist, hips, knees and ankle. It wields both the giant Power Sword and the mastodon shield.
The inner child in us is SCREAMING. What an absolutely phenomenal design. The LEGO Dino Zords are so perfect on their own. And then the ability to combine them into the Dino Megazord… That is beyond amazing. Building this Power Rangers LEGO set would clearly be a blast! We are obsessed with the attention to detail, the clever mechanics, and just how GOOD everything looks. If we could, we’d buy this right now.

TrumanBricks also suggest this LEGO set come with five Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Minifigures. For now, the head is custom-painted to reflect a helmet. But potentially, actual Power Rangers Minifigures could have removable helmets and heads underneath. You can take a closer look at the LEGO Power Ranger Minifigures and their Zords below.

At the time of this writing the LEGO Ideas “Go Go Power Rangers! Lego Megazord” has 10,000 supporters. Of course, as with all things, rights issues and other legalities may play a role in whether we can get a real Power Rangers LEGO set.

But we sure dare to dream. If you like this set and want it to leap into our world, make sure to support it on LEGO Ideas.
