We’ve all thought about what we would do if we find ourselves stranded on a deserted island. What items would you bring? Who would you want to be stuck with? It’s all fun hypotheticals, though none of us imagine it would actually happen in real life. While the scenario might not be realistic for us, it’s a very common trope in the film world. Fans are getting their first look at Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien in the new darkly comedic psychological thriller Send Help. Take a look at the the official trailer below, featuring a very blood-splattered McAdams.
In the trailer, work colleagues Linda Liddle (McAdams) and Bradley Preston (O’Brien) find themselves stranded on a desolate island after they are the sole survivors of a deadly plane crash. Liddle, an undervalued and disrespected employee, is constantly at odds with her arrogant jerk of a boss, Preston. However, the pair are forced to overcome their differences and work together to survive when they are pushed to extremes. It ultimately festers into an unsettling, gripping battle of wills and wits to make it out alive.
This darkly humorous thriller comes from visionary director Sam Raimi (Spider-Man, Evil Dead Rise). “I’ve always loved stories where interesting, dynamic characters are pushed to extremes,” said Raimi. “In our story, the power shifts create an escalating situation that’s brimming with unexpected turns and suspense.”

Who’s in the Cast?
The cast is nothing short of star-studded. Joining the two leads are Edyll Ismail, Dennis Haysbert, Xavier Samuel, Chris Pang, Thaneth Warakulnukroh and Emma Raimi. The film will include original music by Danny Elfman, known for The Nightmare Before Christmas and Batman.
