Star Wars Outlaws version 1.4.0 fixed some lingering issues and added quality-of-life changes to the game’s stealth system. Rather than fail a stealth-focused mission outright, Star Wars Outlaws now gives players the choice to escalate the situation into combat or change their stealth tactics on the fly. Along with the stealth changes, Kay can now carry a two-handed weapon in more situations, and weak points were added to different enemies, which players can exploit to bring fights to an explosive end.

Microsoft stated that users reported a black screen as one of the signs of a crash, which forced them to use the Task Manager to close the game completely. The affected games include Star Wars Outlaws, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and three Assassin’s Creed titles; Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla.
