Don’t Miss This Free LA Event Celebrating Stranger Things 5
But what can you expect at this totally tubular Stranger Things 5 event in LA? Well, for one day only, fans can take to Melrose Avenue for a day of immersive photo ops, pedal-powered activations, live entertainment, merch, giveaways, and an exclusive content drop that you won’t want to miss if you’re already excited for Stranger Things 5. The best part is that this Stranger Things 5 event is free, open to all, and no RSVP will be needed. And, of course, it will get you in just the right mood to watch Stranger Things 5, volume one, which will release on November 26 at 5 PM PT/8 PM ET.
Of course, like Dustin, Lucas, Mike, Will, and the gang heading to school in Ghostbusters gear on Halloween when no one else dressed up, we expect you to COMMIT. That’s right, come in Stranger Things cosplay, dress as Vecna, or just bring your best ’80s energy with neon, leg warmers, or anything else retro you’ve got in your closet. You know The Party will judge you if you don’t.
Additionally, fans can even partake in a special quest and unlock additional surprises by taking place in some fun, themed activities. Netflix shares, “The quest is an optional way for fans to go deeper into the experience – by participating in fun and easy activities along the route to uncover a few surprises. Head to any of the hubs to pick up your quest book, which includes a map and instructions for things to do and see (trivia stops, special offers at local businesses, photo ops, and more!) You never know what you might discover.” We love a live-action role play moment, so don’t sleep on this fun activity.
Okay, we know you heard us say, exclusive content drop. That’ll happen on the Main Stage at 10:55a; so be there or be normal. We also know you heard us say swag, so here’s what you can expect. Netflix notes, “Get your ride tricked out in Stranger Things style. Fans can grab custom Stranger-themed items such as stickers, spoke cards, bells, and lights to customize their rides while hitting the route. While supplies last. Available at the Vermont and Melrose hubs.” Additionally, Dr. Squatch will be distributing their limited-edition Stranger Things deodorant at each hub. We love it.

Castle Byers Photo Op
Step into the world of Will Byers with his hand-built wooden hideout where he fled from demogorgons in the Upside Down, re-created as a photo op for the most daring of fans. Available at the Melrose Hub (Melrose between Irving and Plymouth).
“Stranger Shapes” Challenge by Netflix Puzzled
“Stranger Shapes” is a life-size, Stranger Things-themed tangram challenge that brings Netflix’s Puzzled to life as a physical, hands-on experience. Visitors step into a Puzzled-inspired booth where they race against a 60-second countdown to solve a large wall-mounted tangram puzzle. The setup recreates the fun and challenge of Netflix’s Puzzled app in an immersive, in-person format. Available at the Melrose Hub (Melrose between Irving and Plymouth).
Stranger Things Custom Rides Display Area
Stop by to take pictures with our custom Stranger Things-themed bikes throughout the day. You’ll catch them out on the route for the most part, but they’ll be making stops at the hubs each hour for your chance to get up close and personal. Available at all hubs throughout the day.
One Last Ride Photo Op
