Prime Day 2025 is here from Tuesday, July 8 to Friday, July 11, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price-tracking tools.

I’ve always loved working from home—I was a trailblazer of the “dress shirt and shorts” video meeting movement. There’s one downside, though: My office is on the third floor of the house, and the kitchen is on the first. That means getting cups of coffee during the day was a bit of a chore. So I went looking for a solution and found this Keurig K-Slim Single Serve coffee maker to put in my office. It’s small enough to fit on my desk, it makes a really good cup of coffee—and it’s almost half off right now for Prime Day.

Like all Keurigs, it requires K-Cup-branded pods (I use reusable pods because I don’t need to see a pile of used pods in my wastebasket every day). It holds 48 ounces of water, so it’ll make six regular cups of coffee (or four 12-ounce cups) from one reservoir fill. That means I can just magically produce a cup of coffee any time I want over the course of the day. And the K-Slim makes a good cup of coffee, in my opinion. The company claims this is due to the “multistream” technology that uses multiple streams of water to soak the coffee grounds in the pod, and I am prepared to accept this claim.

The K-Slim is easy to maintain. Like any other Keurig, it needs to be descaled every few months, and the water reservoir and drip tray pop off for a ride in the dishwasher as necessary. If you’re looking for a quick coffee fix just for yourself and space is a concern, the K-Slim offers a great coffee experience and takes up about the same space as a family-sized cereal box. At almost 50% off its regular price, it’s a great investment in your future alertness and productivity.

Looking for something else? Retailers like Walmart, Best Buy, and Home Depot have Prime Day competition sales that are especially useful if you don’t have Amazon Prime.

  • Walmart’s Prime Day competition sale begins at midnight on July 8 and will include deals up to 50% off. It’s an especially good option if you have Walmart+.

  • Best Buy’s Prime Day competition sale, “Black Friday in July,” runs through Sunday, July 13 and has some of the best tech sales online. It’s an especially good option if you’re a My Best Buy “Plus” or “Total” member.

  • Home Depot extended its 4th of July sale through at least July 9, competing with some amazing deals of its own. It’s an especially good option if you’re looking for power tools, appliances, or outdoor equipment.
