HBO Max’s medical drama The Pitt captured audiences with a stellar and emotional first season. Of course, that quickly led to the streaming service renewing the show for another season, which premiered on January 8. And fans who are returning as well as those who are getting into the Noah Wyle-led show will be delighted to know that there are plenty more episodes to come. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Pitt was recently renewed for season three.
Of course, it remains to be seen how long it will take to get that third season. Right now, there’s plenty for fans to sink their teeth into with The Pitt’s second round. It takes place ten months after the season one finale during Fourth of July, which is surely the worst time to be in the emergency medical field. People aren’t very smart with fireworks.
Dr. Robby will be on a journey of seeking treatment and healing from trauma this season as well. Let’s see how things go as this season progresses and how it sets up The Pitt season three.
