AI tools have made it possible for anyone to build their own software. The concept is called “vibe coding,” and it’s when you prompt AI agents to generate code for you. As a result, there are all sorts of cool, unique, weird, and wacky tools that people are creating. TinyToolTown is a simple web-based hub that brings together hundreds of these tiny wonderful creations. 

The website is essentially a collection of small, lightweight web tools that are designed to do one task and do it well. There are some really ingenious little software utilities on here, too. Everything from automatic posture correctors that use your webcam to monitor your posture to diabetes management software that identifies blood glucose trends and insights.

My favorites that I personally use are Kuato, which stores session data locally for Claude Code and Peon-ping, which notifies you when AI agents need your attention using voice lines from old-school video games—a Warcraft 3 orc peon dopily shouting “Job’s done” after my AI completes a task has me chuckling every time.

Also, everything is super lightweight, you just load the tools instantly and you’re off. Plus, all of the software on TinyToolTown is open-source and free to use. Each tool is reviewed by the community prior to being listed on the site as well, which adds a welcomed layer of trust.
