Sometimes a change in scenery is the fix you need. Getting away from everything (and everyone) is a great way to reset and refocus. It is why we love vacations, after all. But sometimes it needs to be more of a drastic and permanent move, like to a different state or even country. It might add that spark you’ve been missing, especially if you’re in a long-term relationship. Or you could run into some unknown force that turns your boring life into a body horror nightmare. That’s what we see in the trailer for NEON’s new film Together, starring Alison Brie and Dave Franco.
In it, they play an estranged couple who decide to leave their lives behind and move to the country. That’s usually not a great sign of things to come in horror for many reasons. They finally seem to find their groove when things start to get real weird.
From their lips nearly fusing during a passionate kiss to their bodies being seemingly possessed by something otherworldly, there’s a lot going on in the Together trailer. And, its use of The Turtles “Happy Together” is perfection, considering that song is creepy as hell.
What Is the Release Date for the Horror Movie Together?
Together will hit theaters on July 30. The summer really belongs to horror.
