RESTON, Virginia. Leidos received a $249 million contract by the U.S. Military to reinforce safety at 92 extra navy set up entry factors worldwide, the corporate introduced in a press release.
The contract, often called the Automated Set up Entry (AIE) Subsequent Era, will modernize entry management methods utilizing cloud-based know-how and superior biometrics to streamline entry for approved personnel and autos, the assertion reads. The corporate provides that the biometric methods will validate digital identities and incorporate cybersecurity measures to adapt to altering pressure safety wants.
Work will likely be carried out at Military and joint-service installations, with engineering assist supplied from Leidos’ Edgewood, Maryland facility, the corporate says.
