YouTube has just announced its Sunday Ticket pricing for the upcoming NFL season, and along with the typical eye-watering subscription rates comes a long-awaited option—the ability to sign up for just a single month of gridiron. Warning, though: It’ll cost you.
According to a Reddit post from a YouTube staffer, a month-to-month option for NFL Sunday Ticket will arrive in “early September.” The plan will cost $85 a month for new subscribers, or $95/month with NFL RedZone included, while returning subscribers will pay $115 a month with a YouTube TV subscription, or $145 a month on a standalone basis (with NFL RedZone access boosting those prices to $125/month and $155/month respectively).
Unlike previous month-to-month payment NFL Sunday Ticket plans offered by YouTube, this new month-to-month option will let you cancel at any time, meaning you could sign up for just a single month if you wanted to. The 12-month installment plan can be had for as little as $23/month for new subscribers, but you can’t cancel it mid-season, so it’s really just an installment plan.
While the new month-to-month option offers some welcome flexibility, the monthly rates aren’t cheap. Consider the $115 a month price for returning NFL Sunday Ticket subscribers who already have YouTube TV; at that rate, three months of Ticket access would cost $345, just $32 less than a full-season subscription (we’ll get to season Sunday Ticket prices in a moment). So if you think you might want more than two months of NFL Sunday Ticket access, you’re probably better off going with a full-season plan.
Meanwhile, there’s still no option for purchasing a single Sunday of NFL Sunday Ticket action–or better yet, a single game.
Besides the unveiling of its month-to-month option, YouTube has also announced full-season Sunday Ticket pricing for the 2025-26 NFL season, and it’s roughly equivalent to last season’s rates—for returning subscribers, anyway.
If you’re coming back for another NFL season, expect to pay $378 for Sunday Ticket as an add-on for YouTube TV (which itself goes for $83 a month), or $480 for standalone Sunday Ticket via YouTube Primetime Channels. Tacking on NFL RedZone ups those Sunday Ticket prices to $420 and $522 per season, respectively.
New NFL Sunday Ticket subscribers will be getting a generous discount this year, a development that might understandably rankle longtime Sunday Ticket holders. For the newbies, NFL Sunday Ticket is $276 (or $318 with NFL RedZone) for the season, whether you sign up for the Ticket as a YouTube TV add-on or standalone through YouTube Primetime Channels.
There will also be NFL Sunday Ticket discounts for students ($119 for the season, or $129 with RedZone) as well as military, veterans, first responders, nurses, and teachers ($198, or $208 with RedZone).
You can sign up for the upcoming season of NFL Sunday Ticket now, but before you do, keep these points in mind:
- If you want a full season of NFL Sunday Ticket, keep in mind that there are no refunds, and that includes if you opt for a 12-month payment schedule (which, again, is separate from the upcoming month-to-month option).
- YouTube is sure to offer some decent NFL Sunday Ticket discounts as we get closer to kickoff, so there’s no harm in waiting in case a better deal pops up.
- Don’t forget, NFL Sunday Ticket only offers regular season Sunday afternoon NFL matchups on CBS and Fox, meaning no Thursday night, Sunday night, or Monday night games.
