The Boys has given us plenty of entertainment and wild character developments in its fifth and final season. But one question that many fans have had so far is about Gen V’s main players. At the end of Gen V’s second (and now final) season, the ensemble teamed up with Annie and A-Train to fight in the revolution. But, we haven’t seen any of them until now. Episode 7 of The Boys brings Gen V characters Marie Moreau and Jordan Li into the mix and sets them up to join the final battle.

Annie and MM meet up with Jordan and Marie in an undisclosed location. They give her a booklet with information that Emma has collected about Oh-Father’s recent movements, saying that he’s been spending a lot of time at Vought Studios. MM even remarks that Marie is “the Chosen One” with Homelander-level strength, to which she replies that reports about her are greatly exaggerated. Marie says that Vought Studios has doubled its security and has a lot of weapons for protection, which means that Oh-Father is up to something big.
Jordan asks Annie about their next move and she tells them to pack it up because they are all done. Annie says they should all run while they can, which rightfully angers Marie. She did come to the God U crew and spew all that stuff about the revolution, after all. They reveal that they’ve been risking their lives for a year, and Annie says that Marie’s power isn’t useful if she cannot control it. For some very stupid reason, Annie doesn’t tell Marie and Jordan that Homelander has V-One in his veins, and they go their separate ways.

Thanks to the Oh-Father intel, MM and Annie are able to stop quite a few people from dying because they aren’t “true believers” of Homelander. These people, many of whom hated Starlight and her followers, now know the truth for what it is, which is dangerous. So, they take them to a large, remote house where Marie and Jordan are. Annie asks for their help, and we leave things there. So, it is pretty clear that they will have some level of involvement in The Boys’ series finale.
Will Marie Moreau kill Homelander? Probably not single-handedly. That would feel like robbing Butcher and the crew of something they’ve wanted since the very beginning. But she could certainly offer a very helpful assist, as will Jordan. They are going to need every good supe they can find, so perhaps we will also see Emma and Marie’s sister Annabeth, too.
