Missed EOFY sales? Prime Day has you covered with up to 38% off top-rated office chairs nico.arboleda@futurenet.com (Nico Arboleda) | usagoldmines.com

A good quality office chair is a worthy investment for anyone who spends a lot of time at their desk, like remote or hybrid workers who usually sit for 8 (or more) hours, or even gamers looking to unwind after work.

If you were in the market but just missed out on the end-of-financial-year discounts last month, there are Prime Day discounts on some of the best office chairs on Amazon right now. Don’t sit on this, though, as Amazon’s biggest sale of the year ends tonight (July 13).

From Steelcase, Sihoo, Corsair and more, there’s up to 38% off and I don’t think these offers will extend into tomorrow (July 14) once the sale ends at midnight Eastern time.

All five office chair discounts I’ve picked below are exclusive to Amazon Prime members, so make sure you sign up here for a free 30-day trial if you’ve never been a subscriber before, or sign back in for at least one month of Prime for AU$9.99 if you were previously a member.

This entry-level office chair has adaptive lumbar support that moves with your posture, aimed to help reduce lower back pain during extended work sessions. It also has a wide headrest and flip-up armrests, features that are commonly found in more expensive office chairs. We haven’t reviewed this chair, but it has 100+ 5-star user reviews on Amazon. This price matches the B100’s all-time low on the site.View Deal

This chair may be from a gaming brand (and the TC100 Relaxed does look like a gaming chair), but it’s sleek enough to fit in a professional setting. Our reviewer found the TC100 Relaxed more durable and comfortable than anything else at this price point, and it includes lumbar and neck pillows for support. The biggest downside is that it won’t be the most adjustable option, but that’s as expected for a chair in this price range. Like the B100 above, this price is the lowest we’ve seen on Amazon.View Deal

We named this the best budget office chair for its breathable mesh design and adjustable lumbar support, as well as the understated look that makes it suitable for professional environments. The lumbar adjustment is manual via a dial, and the backrest can be locked into place when you want to lean back or sit upright. This price matches its all-time low on Amazon.View Deal

If you want the absolute best, you can’t go wrong with the Steelcase Series 2, which we named the best overall office chair you can buy in Australia. This chair has a wide array of adjustments with intuitive under-seat levers and dials, and the mesh fabric back is not just breathable, but is engineered to flex and adjust to your back whenever you shift your weight. This isn’t as cheap as the EOFY deal from June that Steelcase offered directly from its own storefront, but this discount is still hard to overlook. Read our Steelseries Series 2 review for a deeper insight.View Deal

Our reviewer fell in love with the Steelcase Gesture’s armrests, which headlines this chair’s many adjustability options. It also has a sturdy build and premium looks, though its cushioned back won’t offer as much breathability as mesh-backed chairs. The Gesture has the same backrest technology in the Series 2 (listed above) that flexes to adjust with your spine’s position. It’s been cheaper in the past, but almost AU$400 off is nothing to scoff at.View Deal
