The Vampire Lestat: One Night Only Live is coming to streaming on AMC+ on August 23, and it will be a concert movie well worth the wait.
Fans hoped they might be able to receive the full, high-definition video of Sam Reid becoming possessed by The Vampire Lestat live on stage. Truly, Reid defied and exceeded all expectations on stage, offering the full concert experience to the breathless, gathered audience. As we shared in the past, at The Vampire Lestat concert, those in the room experienced “that moment where the room goes from cold to warm, and the music descends on you, and true communion comes through sound.” And we know that will happen in exactly the same way when we stream The Vampire Lestat: One Night Only Live on AMC+. What a true treat for fans of The Vampire Lestat. We could not love this series any more if we tried.
In addition, The Vampire Lestat will be taking over Hall H at San Diego Comic Con this year, on Friday, July 24. There, cast and executive producers from The Vampire Lestat will take the Hall H stage for the first time to reflect on the series’ jaw-dropping season finale, premiering Sunday, July 19, on AMC and AMC+.” and, of course, “highlights from the electrifying premiere event, featuring original songs from series composer Daniel Hart and performed by Sam Reid, will be screened for fans.”
Truly, it is the right time to be a vampire fan. The Vampire Lestat and the previous two seasons of Interview with the Vampire are currently streaming on AMC+. As mentioned, The Vampire Lestat: One Night Only Live concert releases on AMC+ on August 23.
