Back in the day, Burger King was the fast food chain with the best pop culture promotional merch. We got collectible Star Wars drinking glasses, Pokémon toys, and a metric ton of The Simpsons Kid’s Meals. And very soon, the world of Dragon Ball is coming to Burger King. We learned the details thanks to the folks at Game Rant. And we have a feeling a whole lot of you Big Kids out there will want some of these Super Saiyan toys. An assortment of Dragon Ball-themed items, food, and crowns are arriving at Burger King locations in North America this fall.
According to the fast food giant, “Burger King is bringing the cosmic energy of the anime multiverse straight to your taste buds. In celebration of one of the most beloved anime franchises, Burger King is launching a limited-time Dragon Ball Super menu. It’s packed with bold flavors and immersive packaging designed to delight guests of all ages.” Six characters from the Dragon Ball franchise will make up the Burger King line of figurines this fall. Among the characters are Piccolo, Goku, Super Saiyan Blue Goku, Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, Vegeta, and Beerus.
Except for Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Vegeta, the other toys draw inspiration from Dragon Ball Super: Beerus. Since the remake is coming this fall, it makes sense they’d lean into the newer stuff for the collaboration. However, it appears that Burger King will use the original Dragon Ball Super logo, not the new Beerus logo. Of course, Burger King will also offer several new Dragon Ball-themed menu items in their Dragon Ball Super Power Up Pack. These include some Super Saiyan dipping sauces to go with your 10-piece chicken nuggets. They’ll also offer crowns featuring Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and Beerus, plus a Goku-inspired cup for your Dragon Ball Burst Lemonade. The Dragon Ball x Burger King collab begins on September 1, and runs until early October.
