Pixel 11 Pro vs. iPhone 18 Pro: Which to Buy? Kellen | usagoldmines.com

Apple shared its new hardware line-up for the end of 2026 today, revealing the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, iPhone Duo, new Apple Watch models, and some new AirPods. For those who missed the event and don’t want to re-watch, yet still want to see how the new iPhone 18 Pro compares to Google’s new Pixel 11 Pro, we’ve got you covered.

We walked through the specs tables from each company to give you their supposedly-straight view of their new phones. You’ll find iPhone 18 Pro pricing, storage options, camera setups, expected battery life, and connectivity up against the same for the Pixel 11 Pro.

Since each of these phones come in big and small sizes, we went ahead and separated them for you. You’ll find the smaller Pro models first, followed by a comparison of the 11 Pro XL to the 18 Pro Max.

The takeaways from each of these comparison tables are pretty easy to understand. They are very similar in terms of specs and sizes. We do at least get lower starting prices for the Pixel 11 Pro, but the Pixel 11 Pro XL matches the starting price of the iPhone 18 Pro Max. However, Apple hands out bigger price increases with each storage jump and goes all of the way up to 2TB with prices as high as $2499 (!).

We do get to see the camera setups, with Apple taking (on paper) a lead with this new variable aperture main camera. It has stops at f/1.48, f/1.8, f/2.8, f/4.0, which is pretty cool to see and something Samsung sort-of tried back with the Galaxy S9.

Of course, the new A20 Pro chip in the iPhone 18 Pro series will destroy Google’s Tensor chip, since it will likely destroy every other mobile chip as well. For Pixel owners, the software experience has always been more important than raw power, although Apple and its iPhone owners sort of get both.

Other than that, battery life is rated similarly, software support is as well, and connectivity matches up well.
