Doom is coming for the Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four. But before he attacks the entire multiverse, Marvel is inviting fans to go back. Back to where Doom is presumably waiting for us to see what he was doing years ago. Avengers Endgame is returning to movie theaters ahead of Avengers: Doomsday with new footage that bridges the crossover events. And to celebrate tickets going on sale, Disney has released a new trailer for its old movie, a special edition titled Avengers Endgame: Encore.
As far as Member Berries go, this is one juicy trailer of nostalgia. The Avengers: Endgame Encore trailer really want fans to revisit how they felt in 2019 when the MCU was as popular as any franchise in cinematic history. If you’re looking for any of the new footage that has been added to the film, though, it isn’t here. There’s no sign of the roughly four extra minutes this Encore rerelease contains.
Since there’s no extra footage here to parse, just a promise that moviegoers will also get a special sneak peek at Avengers: Doomsday during Avengers: Endgame‘s rerelease, feel free to read way too much into Marvel making a point to show Wanda in this Avengers: Endgame Encore trailer. We are!
Ooooh, big shot of Wanda. That’s gotta be intentional. They’re basically confirming she’s a Latverian witch.
We’ll let all of you pour through this cool new Avengers: Endgame Encore poster to find clues that aren’t really there.
As for the actual tickets to Avengers Endgame: Encore, they are now on sale at Fandango and anywhere tickets are sold. That includes sales to Disney’s special “Infinity Vision” screenings, a new premium format the Mouse House created because Dune: Part III beat it to the IMAX punch in North America.
Endgame will make its Encore return next month on September 25, 2026. It will seemingly show us what Doctor Doom was doing when we originally saw it. Avengers: Doomsday will then follow two months later. Victor von Doom arrives in the present on December 18.
