Traders betting against Bitcoin are getting liquidated as BTC’s price pushes through $81,000.
A total of $547 million in leveraged crypto bets have closed out in the last 24 hours, says CoinGlass.
Most of that comes from shorts, with long liquidations at just $57.10 million. Short liquidations are $469.19 million.
Bitcoin led the wipeouts with about $243.54 million liquidated.
Ethereum followed at about $95.66 million, with Solana adding about $36.29 million.
More than 107,000 traders were forced out, and he largest single close was an $8.53 million Bitcoin position on Hyperliquid.
Bitcoin is trading near $81,030 at time of publishing.
